RockStar Strain Information
Taking second place in a High Times Cannabis Cup hardly denotes a second rate strain, RockStar took second place in the 2012 hybrid Category. The strain is not to be confused with BC RockStar or Rockstar OG. The maternal strain chosen by the breeders, Bonguru Beans, is Soma A+’s strain Rockbud. Rockbud is a conglomeration of Super Skunk, Big Skunk Korean, a landrace Indica from Afghanistan and Afghani Hawaii. Bonguru bred the mother with Sensi Star, a mostly Indica hybrid from Paradise Seeds. Easing tension, loosening muscles and causing users to feel happy, RockStar is an Indica that does not strongly act as a sedative.
The earth and citrus flavors of RockStar may be used to deliver potent pain and muscle spasm relief. Its euphoric effects may be used to help deal with anxiety, depression and stress. Some do find that it helps them rest easy. Others use it for migraines and nausea.

What a great deal for such an amazing strain. The high is strong and lasts for a long time. Indica lovers need to try this awesome bud, Rockstar kush is a top shelf strain.
Style –
Good for mild sedation and unwinding for bed. Very standard experience, but definitely could be a solid choice for a new smoker looking for something that won’t be too overwhelming. I feel this strain has alot of potential to treat anxiety attacks. It relaxes like a classic indica but the thc content is low enough that a person could still be functional. I think a one hitter pipe would be useful for this application.

This is a pretty good strain. It’s very different than all the other Indicas I’ve had. After I smoked I felt relaxed yet kinda focused. Then what feels like 5 minutes I’m OUT until morning. I like this strain.

One of the stronger strains I’ve tried. It definately helps with physical pain and also allowing the mind to relax. I probably would only smoke this after work and not before. The body high is intense and I was only able to relax and fall into a deep sleep after smoking this strain.

Probably my favorite strain. This strain has a high that hits in what feels like an instant. Has a very pleasant smell to it as well. Definitely one of the best indicas I’ve smoked.
