Gas Information :
Although Gas may be an informal term used to describe quality cannabis, Gas is also the name of at least one proper strain, comparable to ‘loud’. Breeder Loompa of the Platinum Clouds rising operation in San Jose has developed a strain called Gas that is thought to be a distinct OG Kush phenotype. This bud, named for its gasoline-like fragrance, has THC levels estimated at between 16% and 21%.
Gas is distinguished by its tiny flowers that retain a pine cone-like shape, tapering down into a rounded tip from a large base. The arrangement of these flowers is compact and thick, with leaves curling closely inward towards their central stems. The leaves themselves are mossy green and bright orange hairs twist around them (which are actually reproductive structures called pistils, meant to catch pollen from male plants). Finally, without the use of a quality grinder, Gas’ flowers are crowned by a high amount of glassy white trichomes that give these buds a sticky texture and make them impossible to break up.
Gas releases a rich, earthy fragrance when correctly cured, comparable to that of moist soil. There’s still some shiny, citrus-like acidity hanging out beneath. Meanwhile, grinding up the flowers provides testimony to the name of the strain, emitting heavy diesel and ammonia fumes. Gas burns with an acrid smoke that can sting the sinuses and palate when incinerated in a pipe or joint. And traces of lemon on the exhale, this dense smoke tastes woody.
Gas ‘high, like many other Indicas, can be a creeper, often taking up to 15 minutes to show the effects. Eventually, as the strain’s initial head-rush raises blood pressure, customers may experience a tingling feeling across the temples and jawline. As these sensations fade, a shift in sensory perception can help them, with certain external stimuli appearing to become more vivid or dynamic. An uncanny sensation of time passing more slowly and a flattening of any optical depth are other trippy phenomena. By putting on a moody album or an entertaining video, those who should be so compelled will drive this psychedelic mood even deeper. Although Gas’s usually spacey attitude is not well-suited to taking on complicated, intellectual projects, when it comes to low-stakes, introspective daydreaming, it is right at home. As time progresses, the physical symptoms of this bud start creeping in. When muscle stresses are relaxed, waves of relief roll out into the spinal column.Deep breathing can occur freely and easily at this stage. Consumers may gradually see their previous complaints or concerns moved to the edges when they blissfully merge into their surroundings. This sedation will turn into a complete couch-lock if the dose is raised, pinning smokers in place and keeping them content while stripping them of all desire to get up and walk. Gas will also lull users to a satisfying and restful sleep in a sufficiently comfortable setting and atmosphere. This strain is preferred for consumption during the evening or nighttime when it can be thoroughly savored due to its often laid-back vibes.
For certain medicinal cannabis users, gas may have uses as well. Its uplifting mood can briefly banish fatigue, depression, and anxiety symptoms, while its elevated body can relieve chronic conditions of pain. Meanwhile, anti-inflammatory properties can decrease daily irritations such as headaches and nausea. As noted, even insomnia can be counteracted by the strain, putting comfortable customers to sleep. Gas can be a safe choice for patients who are vulnerable to hysteria or paranoia due to its general lack of cerebral intensity; but those with a poor THC tolerance should drink the bud with caution, as its high body strength may cause some disorientation for those inexperienced with the sensation.
Gas seeds are not accessible online, and growers wishing to encourage the strain at home can acquire clippings to grow as “clones.” These plants, which appear to grow small and bushy, can thrive indoors or outdoors, although a semi-humid, Mediterranean-like environment is needed for outdoor cultivation. By cutting away large, light-blocking fan leaves, gardeners should look to periodically “top” their crops.
If found on dispensary racks, Indica fans are worth snatching up with power. It’s better left when you have little else to do, for a day or evening.

I got a ounce this on my last order and this is some serious dank weed. At first when you open the bag you get a big nice whiff that stinky kush like smell. After that i rolled up a fatty and it was lights out after one joint for me. Definately don’t recommend this during the day more of a night time go to sleep type strain.

It’s an incredible and complex buzz, with euphoric head high, completely relaxed feeling physically.
